I’ll admit it: When it comes to photography, I’m far more of a technician than I am creative. I may have a rough idea of what I want to accomplish, but until I actually get the model or client in front of the camera and we start shooting, the possibilities are virtually endless. I like shooting without a specific plan because it makes for an organic shoot – it starts as one thing and often gradually progresses into something entirely different. Black and White Spider Awards Honors Photographer Galen Evans

LONDON – Professional photographer Galen Evans of the United States was presented with the 8th Annual Black and White Spider Awards Nominee in the Nude category at a prestigious Nomination & Winners PhotoShow. The live online ceremony webcast Saturday, October 19, 2013 was attended by photography fans in 75 countries who logged on to see the climax of the industry’s most important event for black and white photography.
